Saxonby starts work on new development in Gloucestershire for Melt Homes
Saxonby has started work on a development that will see new homes in the village of Tuffley, Gloucestershire.
Constructed for housebuilder Melt Homes, the Lime Grove scheme consists of ten contemporary new dwellings. A show home will be ready to view in May and phase one of the project finished in June, with work on site completed by autumn 2019. When planning permission is granted it is anticipated that historic Whaddon Junior School, on which the development is located, will be also be converted into seven apartments.
Saxonby director and co-founder James Wood, said: “Saxonby is always interested in working with new clients and Melt Homes is no exception. This is an interesting development where the design will eventually incorporate a sympathetic restoration and conversion of the school, as well as retaining many of the adjacent, mature trees. We look forward to Lime Grove enhancing the village of Tuffley.”
